About the event
Pain, insomnia, and anxiety are common aliments for which pharmaceuticals are prescribed. These three conditions are tightly intertwined yet are often treated separately. If you have one, two, or all three of these symptoms you are likely to take medications for each. Cannabis for health is a different approach as it treats the whole person to promote better sleep, lower stress and pain reduction.
In this class we are going to address incorporating THC & CBD into your health plan. The same dose of cannabis can have a multiprong effect. For example, cannabis does not act like sleeping pills, which are hypnotic drugs. Instead, it is an agent that reduces symptoms which interfere with sleep, such as pain, and anxiety. There are many choices for dosing options, from different delivery methods (respiratory, digestive, sublingual, & topical) to creating different formulations that work best for you (amount of mgs per dose, THC:CBD ratios, & micro-dosing). Cannabis is a natural medicine which works with your body to promote wellness by assisting your body with a healing response.

Understanding how your endocannabinoid system supports health
The pros and cons of cannabis vs. traditional medicine
